Chile is a perfect travel destination for those who are looking for relaxing holidays and love to do adveturous activities like trekking, climbing, skiing etc.The southern most town on the earth, Punta Arenas, and the driest desert Atacam are both part of Chile. You can enjoy sailing through fjords and glaciers along the South Pacific coast and attempt climbing Andes at the same time.
Chile, the land of diversities, offers experince in the feel of a desert where ther is no vegetation at all, not even cacti. The same country lets you climb Andes and takes you thousands of meters above sea level. The crystal clear water of the Lake Chungara, which is known as the highest lake of South America in Lauca and its panaromic view, captures the fancy of its beholder. Apart from this, Lauca has much more to offer - including the white peaked mountains, clear sky, fresh air and spectacular natural beauty, which is fortunately untouched by us.
Santiago, the capital of Chile, has the magical power of keeping the visitors spellbound while seeing the Red House or the Art Museum or the Cathedral. We witness the architectural brilliance of past and modern era at the same time. Santiago, apart from being a very modern city, also showcases the rich cultural heritage of Chile.
My visit to Chiloé Island was like visiting Heaven. It really felt as if we were in a land of fairy tales. The land of penguins, breathtaking beaches and heavenly coastal forests … definitely out of this world!
The varied geography of Chile, ranging from desert to Mediterranean sea, and from snow to capped mountains, makes the place unique! No holidaymaker can ask for more! The rich flora and fauna are an integral part of the landscape and add to its natural charm. The cultural richness of the place can be witnessed all over. Anyone visiting Chile will definitely fall in love with it.
